We are very close to Gatwick Airport, just 25-35 minutes drive away (though thankfully we are largely undisturbed by aircraft noise).  A taxi from the airport should cost around £35.

Heathrow is a little further away.  On a good day it should take 50 minutes, but it is advisable to build in extra time - the M25 is often congested.

It takes about 1hr and 15 minutes to drive to the Shuttle terminal in Folkestone from where the train takes 35 minutes to reach Calais.

Central London is most easily reached by train, 30 - 40 minutes to Victoria or London Bridge from Oxted station.
